JKPSC Admit Card 2012 Download

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission(JKPSC) has issued admit cards for download. Candidates appearing in the Screening Test for the posts of Assistant Controller in Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution Department which is scheduled to be held on 09.12.2012 at 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM, that the Barcode, Roll No, Name and Venue wise schedule in respect of Kashmir based candidates is given in Annexure-A (Total 2283 candidates) and for those of Jammu based candidates in Annexure – B (Total 1570 candidates). The list along with venue details is available here. The Admit Cards will be dispatched soon to the candidates separately for both the regions. However, in case, if any candidate does not receive his/her Admit Card in time, he/she may also download the same from Commission’s website: http//www.jkpsc.nic.in w.e.f. 26.11.2012.

About JKPSC - Till the end of the year 1954 there was no formal recruiting agency in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. A Public Service Recruitment Board was set up on December 31, 1954. Subsequently with the coming into force of the "Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir State" on 26th of January 1957, "Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission" was established, under section 128 of the Constitution of J&K, on September 2, 1957, with Major General Yadev Nath Singh PVC, as it is first Chairman. Under section 129 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir the Chairman and the Members of the Public Service Commission are appointed by the Governor for a period of five years or till he attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
