CUSAT CAT Results 2014 for PG and LLB courses declared
CUSAT CAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test) Results 2014 have been announced for admission to the PG and LLB courses.
CUSAT CAT entrance examination was held on three days i.e. April 26, April 27 and May 4 to test the eligibility of candidates applying for admission to various courses offered at the university. Candidates who had been waiting for the CUSAT Results 2014 can check online on the official website http://cusat.nic.in/
The CUSAT CAT 2014 scores will be used for admissions to the courses such as Engineering B. Tech, Master of Science M.Sc, Law BBA/B.Com LLB, LLM, Master of Arts MA, Management MBA and Master of Computer Applications MCA.
The results of the remaining B.Tech / Photonics / BLET will be published on May 28, 2014 by 12 Noon. MTech Rank list will be pubished today.
The CAT score is calculated as per the formula, S = 3R - 1W, where S is the CAT score, R is the number of right answers and W is the number of wrong answers.
The entrance exam for the first degree programmes was conducted on All India basis with test centres at: Dubai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Varanasi, Kota and all the District Head Quarters of Kerala.
For the PG Programmes, 5-year BBA.,LL.B(Hons) / B.Com.,LL.B.(Hons.), MIP.,Ph.D and LL.M.,Ph.D CAT exam centres were available at all the district head quarters of Kerala.
For the Lateral Entry Test and 3 Year LL.B (regular) (evening) CAT entrance exams were conducted at the Ernakulam Centre only.
Candidates are selected for admission on the basis of their performance in CUSAT CAT 2014. Based on the marks, candidates will be selected for merit list where they shall be arranged in increasing order of resultant ranks.
