Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has published the Admit Cards/Hall Ticket for the Diploma Common Entrance Test 2014 exam which is to be held on 29th June 2014. Candidates can check and download the DCET Hall Ticket by entering their Diploma CET ID and date of birth. The Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test (CET) 2014 is held for candidates having Diploma in Engineering. The KEA DCET Date is on June 29, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates who pass the Diploma CET 2014 exam can be admitted directly to the second year/third semester of full-time undergraduate B.E engineering courses in Karnataka.
The Karnataka Diploma CET 2014 exam has three sections for a total of 180 marks: Applied Mathematics for 40 marks, Applied Science for 40 marks and Engineering Paper for 100 marks. Applied Mathematics and Applied Science papers are common exams for all branches of engineering, the engineering paper is for the particular branch a candidate has chosen.
Options for the engineering paper are: Aeronautical Engineering, Biotechnology, Ceramics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering and Textile Engineering.
Candidates can have a copy of their OMR answer sheets for the Karnataka Diploma CET 2014 exam. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will issue the Karnataka Diploma CET 2014 Answer keys in three days after the exam i.e. July 2, 2014.
