CPT exam 2014 was conducted on June 22. Held twice a year, Common Proficiency Test (CPT) exam is conducted for admissions to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in the Integrated Professional Competence Course. This CPT exam can be taken only after 10+2 (in any stream but mathematics serves as an advantage). CPT consists of 4 subjects: Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude. The CPT exam is an entry level in becoming a Chartered Accountant.
