Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) CET entry of options for second round started 3rd July from 5 Pm and candidates can modify, delete or re-order the higher order option above the allotted option till 8 PM on 5th July 2014. The following is the CET Option Entry Schedule to be followed for Second Round:
Display of Seat Matrix: 2nd July after 11 AM.
Option Entry by Eligible Candidates: From 5 PM on 3rd July to 5th July upto 8 PM.
Publication of Seat Allotment of Second Round: 6th July after 6PM.
Confirmation of Allotment, payment of fees and
downloading of admission order: 7th July to 9th July
Last date of reporting to colleges: 10th July before 5:30 PM.
In this regard message has been sent individually to all the eligible candidates to the mobile number furnished by them at the time of verification of documents.
KCET 2014 second round of counselling was earlier deferred.
KEA CET Seats available for the second round are as follows:
Engineering seats yet to be alloted in first round - 1,772
Surrendered seats by private engineering colleges - 1,377
Choice 3 and Choice 4 seats - 6,689 and 487
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) Lateral Entry seats - 351
The first round of CET counseling was held on June 24 and out of 68,473 government seats in the matrix, 66,800 seats were allotted.
The seat allotment is made for the Medical, Dental, Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISMH), Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture as well as Bachelor of Pharmacy/Diploma in Pharmacy (B Pharma/D Pharma) streams.
After seat allotment results, candidates can select from the few options in the KEA official website.
CET-K 2014 was conducted from May 1 till May 3, 2014 and the CET 2014 results were announced on May 27, 2014.

- If the candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat, candidates can exercise Choice-1 in the KEA website.
- If the candidates accept the seat allotted in first round but wish to participate in the next round for higher order options, exercise Choice-2 on the KEA website.
- If the candidate is not satisfied with the allotment in the first round and wishes to participate in the next round for better options, go for Choice-3.
- If the candidate not satisfied with the seat allotment results in the first round and don't want to participate in any round as the candidate has got a seat elsewhere, go for Choice-4.
