Apply online for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test September 2014 examination. The last date of applying to KTET 2014 exam is August 20, 2014. The Kerala TET 2014 exam will enable candidates to qualify candidates to teach in schools in the state of Kerala.
The Kerala TET test consists of four categories:
Category I: Candidates interested in teaching Lower Primary classes should pass Category I of KTET.
Category II: Candidates interested in teaching Upper Primary classes should pass Category II of KTET.
Category III: Candidates interested in teaching High School classes should pass Category III of KTET.
Category IV: Candidates interested in becoming a language teacher (Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, English) for classes up to Upper Primary level, specialist teacher (Arts and Crafts) and Physical Education Teachers should pass Category IV of KTET.
The Passing marks is 60 per cent for all four categories, the candidates need to know that eligibility and paper pattern are different in different categories. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one category can apply but they just need to sure that they meet the eligibility criterion of the KTET test.
