JAM 2015 Registrations Start: Application Process
Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for candidates seeking admissions to Integrated PhD degree programmes at IISc Bangalore and MSc (two years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-PhD dual degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-M.S.(Research)/ PhD dual degree and other post-Bachelor's degree programmes at IITs.
JAM 2015 registrations has started. Candidates who wish to apply for Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) 2015 can apply online. JAM 2015 application process is divided into four parts:
Step-1: Registration at JAPS
Step-2: Filling in the application form
Step-3: Payment of the application fee
Step-4: Downloading the application form
JAM 2015 Registration at JAPS: To start with the applications, the candidates are required to register on the JAPS website by providing their names, a valid Email address, a mobile number and a password. An E-mail containing the candidates' JAPS enrolment ID and on the mobile number. Remember your JAPS enrolment ID and password.
Filling in the application form: After logging on the JAPS website, they are required to fill in the other details such as the number and choice of test paper(s) that they wish to appear for, city choices, date of birth, gender, parent/guardian's name and mobile number, nationality, category, PwD status, address for communication, details of valid personal ID information, information on qualifying degree, percentage of marks/CGPA, status of graduation, college information, etc. Then upload the image files (in .jpeg format) of photograph and signature.
Payment of application: The payment for JAM 2015 application fee can be made online till October 9, 2014 or through challan till September 30, 2014. The following is the JAM 2015 Fee details:
Female:
All candidates: Rs 750 (One test paper), Rs 1, 050 (Two test papers)
Male:
General/ OBC: Rs 1, 500 (One test paper), Rs 2, 100 (Two test papers)
SC/ ST/ PwD: Rs 750 (One test paper), Rs 1, 050 (Two test papers)
Downloading the application form: After the fee payment is done, the candidates are required to download the complete filled in JAM 2015 application form with fee payment details in .pdf format.
JAM 2015 Exam Type Pattern: JAM 2015 examination will be objective in nature and conducted for the seven test papers, namely: Biological Sciences (BL), Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).
JAM 2015 Eligibility Criteria:JAM 2015 exam is open for all nationals with no age limit. Later Candidates whose names appear in the JAM 2015 merit list will be called for admissions.
