VITEEE 2015 Exam Date, Eligibility, Paper Pattern, Important Dates
VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE 2015), conducted by VIT University (VIT), Vellore exam dates are from April 8, 2015 to April 19, 2015.
VITEEE 2015 exam is to be conducted for admissions to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme for the academic year 2015-16. The VITEEE scores are used for admissions to engineering programmes offered by the VIT university at Vellore and Chennai.
VITEEE 2015 ELIGIBILITY
Candidates should have passed Class 10+2/intermediate with 60 per cent marks (50 per cent for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology candidates, who have studied in regular, full time and formal education are eligible to apply.
VITEEE 2015 Paper Pattern:
The duration of the VITEEE entrance exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
All questions will be of objective types:
Part-I-Physics
Part-II-Chemistry
Part-III-Mathematics/Biology
PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)-120 questions (each 40 questions)
PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)-120 questions (each 40 questions).
In the VITEEE 2014 exam, a total of 1, 93, 790 candidates appeared held in 112 cities across 137 centres. 37, 298 candidates were alone from Andhra Pradesh followed by Uttar Pradesh having 28,337 candidates, Bihar with 18, 861 candidates, Maharashtra with 14,801 candidates and Rajasthan 12,839 candidates.
