GATE 2016 Result

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) results announced on March 19. Candidates can check the official website of GATE 2016 to download the results - http://www.gate.iisc.ernet.in/ and click the link, 'GATE 2016 Results'. Candidates need to enter the details. After that, the GATE 2016 results will be displayed on the screen. Candidates need to take a print-out for future reference.

The GATE examination was a single paper, having 65 questions carrying 65 marks in total. GATE 2016 exam was held for a duration of three hours and the question paper had both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type questions.

GATE is a national level competitive exam held every year for admissions to postgraduate courses at the Master and Doctoral levels in the country, and also to MHRD and other government scholarships, assistantships in engineering, technology, architecture and science. The GATE 2016 scores obtained by candidates is also used by a few PSUs while recruitment.
