BCECE 2016 Stage 1 Result, BCECE 2016 First Stage Result

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) first stage result has been released by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board (BCECEB). BCECE exam is held for giving admissions into undergraduate engineering programmes available at universities and colleges in the state of Bihar.

BCECE 2016 exam is held in two stages namely, stage one and stage two. Candidates who pass the first stage can only appear for the second stage. Question papers are in English language.

The BCECE 2016 entrance exam was held on April 17 and May 15, 2016. There were four sections in stage one, namely - Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The exam was for total 600 marks with 50 questions from each section.

BCECE 2016 Stage I Exam:
All the 200 questions were of MCQ type, having four options each. BCECE 2016 Stage I Exam carries 600 marks to be answered in 2 hours and 15 minutes duration. Negative marking is applied for each wrong answer.

BCECE 2016 Stage II Exam:
Stage II will also contain four sections i.e Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, containing 100 questions from each subject.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is constituted under Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act, 1995 and is the responsible body for holding competitive examinations every year for admissions in various professional courses of PCM, PCB and PCMB streams in the Institutions of the state of Bihar.
