The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the Civil Services Preliminary exam 2017 admit card today on the official website, upsc.gov.in . The UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) 2017 is scheduled to be held on June 18.

Enter your name; roll number, registration id, and name and year of examination and click submit

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) this year has preponed the examination month of the civil services preliminary examination. The exam will be held in the month of June instead of August after a gap of three years. Candidates who pass the prelims can appear for the main exam which is scheduled to be held on October 10.
UPSC Civil Services Paper pattern:
The preliminary examination consist of two papers of objective types (multiple type questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects set out in sub-section (A) of section II
The General Studies paper-II will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33 per cent
The question papers will be set in both Hindi and English
The duration of each paper will be two hours.

Indian and world geography - Physical, social, economic geography of India and the world
Indian polity and governance - Constitution, political system, panchayati raj, public policy, rights issues, etc
Economic and social development - Sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives, etc
General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change that do not require subject specialisation
General science.
