The Uttar Pradesh basic education department released the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) results. Candidates can check the UPTET Result 2017 at upbasiceduboard.gov.in. As per secretary of Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority, Sutta Singh UPTET 2017 Results are likely to be announced by November 30. UPTET exam was conducted on October 15 at different test centres across the state.

- Enter your registration number, date of birth and security code in the space provided
- You can download and take a print out of same for future use.
Number of candidates:
A total of 9,76,760 candidates have applied for the examination. Out of the total applications received, 3,49,192 were for primary and 6,27,568 for upper primary.
Extra marks for shiksha mitras:
Shiksha mitras will be given an additional 2.5 marks for each year of their experience -- with 25 marks being the maximum one could get -- when they sit for assistant teachers' recruitment examinations, after qualifying TET.
Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The UPTET test is must for getting teaching jobs in government schools from classes 1 to 8 in the state of UP. Paper 1 is meant for teachers who wish to teach for classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 is for those who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. The TET is held by both Central government and State governments in India.
