Jee Mains Answer Keys Challenged, Results on 3rd May

Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) had released answer keys of Joint Entrance Exam JEE (Mains) Paper I (English medium) on 28th April 2014. Candidates who see any objections with the Jee Mains answer keys got an opportunity to challenge it. The Jee Mains answer keys were released on April 28 around 8 pm and the challenges were accepted till 5 pm on April 29. Around 1, 100 aspirants challenged the Jee Mains 2014 answer keys. If any of the challenges got accepted, the candidates will have their fee refunded.

A total of 13.56 lakh students, including 3.16 lakh girls, registered for the Jee Mains exam out of which, 11.84 lakh took the paper and pen exam and nearly 1.72 lakh students appeared for the online Jee Mains exam. The Jee Mains results 2014 are expected to be declared on May 3.

JEE (Mains) is conducted to test the eligibility of candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions in India.
