Karnataka CET 2014: Provisional answer keys available from May 8
Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) CET 2014 provisional Answer Keys to be available on May 8, 2014. Karnataka CET 2014 was conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on May 1, 2014 and May 2, 2014. Karnataka CET 2014 candidates can keep a copy of their OMR answer sheet. The final results and final answer keys of Karnataka CET 2014 are expected to be released on May 27, 2014.
Biology and Mathematics exams were held on May 1, 2014 and Physics and Chemistry exams were held on May 2, 2014. For Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology 16 different versions were created and each paper had to be completed in the duration of 80 minutes. The difficulty of the examination was of First and Second PUC syllabi as prescribed by Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State and there is No negative marking.
The Karnataka CET 2014 marks based on merit and rank secured would be used for admission to the courses such as Medical/Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga, Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Agriculture, Forestry, Sericulture, Agricultural Biotechnology, Horticulture and Home Science, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Fishery Science, Food Science and Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Agricultural Engineering and Pharmacy.
The counseling for KCET 2014 will be held online and there will be three rounds for seat allotment.
