The top 1.5 lakh ranks scorers in JEE Mains 2014 examination are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2014. JEE Mains 2014 was held for admissions to various corses at the NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutes while JEE Advanced scores will be used for admission to undergraduate engineering courses at the IITs and ISM Dhanbad. How to apply for the JEE Advanced 2014
Step 1: Fill Registration Form:
Sign in with your JEE Mains 2014 roll number and password on the Jee website. If you are eligible for JEE Advanced owing to cut off marks, just create a new password. When your new account is created, you will see all the details you submitted at the time of JEE Mains 2014 will be readily available. Fill all the required fields like choice of examination centre, language of question paper and roll number of the Class 12 or equivalent examination, just remember that you will not be able to change exam paper language or examination centre after the registration.
Step 2: Upload Scanned Certificates:
Candidates should upload scanned copies of the following:
1. Date of Birth
2. Class 10 certificate
3. Class 12 certificate
4. Signature in JPEG format
5. Passport size photograph in JPEG format
6. Category/Sub-Category certificate if applicable
7. Year of first attempt in JEE (Advanced) if applicable
For female candidates, the application process is complete here as they are exempted from payment of examination fees. Just take a printout of the completed form for future, they will get a unique registration number generated. Male candidates proceed to Step 3 for fee payment.
Step 3: Pay Registration Fee
The registration fee for General/OBC male candidates is Rs 2,000 and the registration fee for SC/ST/PwD male candidates is Rs 1,000. Applicants can submit the registration fee online by Debit Card/Credit Card or Internet banking or submit the payment offline at any SBI Branch by bank challan. Once the required documents are uploaded, male candidates will automatically be directed to the State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page where they can select method of payment. After successfully submitting the fees, the registration page with a unique registration number will be available; candidates should take a printout to complete the application process.
