CAT Exam Pattern 2014, CAT 2014 Pattern and Syllabus
Common Admissions Test (CAT) for admissions to MBA programmes for 2014 session will be conducted on November 16 and November 22. The CAT 2014 exam is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore.
CAT 2014, exam pattern has some significant changes as compared to the previous years. The CAT exam previously was conducted within a period of 22-days. But starting this year, the CAT exam 2014 will be held only on two dates in the month of November. Previously, Candidates had the option to select their preferred slots but this year there is no such option. CAT 2014 exam dates are 16th November and 22nd November. Candidates have three options among 99 cities (354 test centres) to select and there is no need to rush for the CAT registration. On a random basis, Candidates will be allotted first preferred city in four sessions.

CAT Syllabus 2014
CAT 2014 exam syllabus has not been changed. There are four sections like Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning in the CAT 2014 exam.
CAT 2014 registration process starts August 6 and ends on September 30, a period of 56 days and that is sufficient time for students to register for the CAT 2014 exams. CAT 2014 admit cards can be downloaded from October 16 date and CAT results 2014 will be announced in the third week of December 2014.

CAT Test Pattern and changes in 2014:
- The CAT test duration time has increased by half an hour i.e from 140 minutes to 170 minutes (two hours 50 minutes in total)
- Questions in each section increased to 50 from the current 30 questions.
- It is upto the Candidates to give as much time to any section as per ability. And you can go to any section at any point during the CAT 2014 exam.
- The CAT tutorials are readily available on the CAT official website and candidates can prepare for the CAT 2014 exam.
