Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has published a notification for the next Common Recruitment Exam for selection of personnel in Specialist Officers' cadre . IBPS will carry an online examination for the selection of Specialist Officers in February 2015.
After passing the IBPS Specialist Officers 2015 exam and the interview, the final appointment will be held. The following is the IBPS paper pattern for the Specialist Officers exam:
For Law Officer-Scale I and Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I:
Time Duration: 120 minutes and sections.
Reasoning- 50 marks
English Language- 25 marks
General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry-50 marks
Professional Knowledge-75 marks
Total- 200 marks
For IT Officer Scale I, Agricultural Field Officer Scale I, HR/ Personnel Officer Scale I &Marketing Officer Scale I:
Time Duration: 120 minutes and sections.
Reasoning- 50 marks
English Language- 25 marks
Quantitative Aptitude-50 marks
Professional Knowledge-75 marks
Total- 200 marks
English language test available bilingually leaving all the rest of the tests. IBPS will incur a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For this, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question wrongly answered will be deducted as penalty. There is no penalty for left out question.
Interview Round:
Candidates passing the Specialist Officers exam will be shortlisted and will be called for interview. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20.
