Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), under the govt of Karnataka, conducted the PGCET exam on August 8 and 9. The Karnataka PGCET 2015 Results/KEA PGCET 2015 Results would be announced on 18th August 2015 after 2 PM.
KEA conducts this Karnataka state level exam for students to take admissions into the various branches of engineering like Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Textile Technology, Electrical Sciences, Mechanical Science, Architecture, Polymer Science and Technology, Mathematics and Computer Science etc.
The counselling for candidates having passed the Karnataka PGCET (Postgraduate Common Entrance Test) will be conducted in the month of September. The candidates will be allotted seats as per the Karnataka PGCET 2015 rank list based on the scores obtained by them. The counselling /allotment of seats for the MBA/MCA and ME/M.Tech courses for the academic year 2015 has been announced.
Candidates who appeared for the Karnataka PGCET exam can download their KEA PGCET Rank Card from the official website.
The important documents to be brought for verification during the PGCET counselling:
Karnataka PGCET 2014 application form.
Karnataka PGCET-2014 admission ticket.
Candidate's copy of the Karnataka PGCET 2014 challan used for payment of application fees.
Two recent passport size photographs.
Class 10 or SLC marks sheet.
Class 12 or 2nd PUC marks sheet.
Marks sheet for all years/semesters of the qualifying degree.
Degree certificate / provisional degree certificate / course completion certificate.
Study certificate (Only for Karnataka Candidates).

Assignment of Ranks:
1. GATE Candidates: Merit in respect of GATE candidates will be determined on the basis of valid GATE score. The rank number for GATE candidates will be assigned from 1 to the last candidate in GATE in ascending order.
2. Merit in respect of all other candidates, will be determined on the basis of marks secured by them in the PGCET-2015. The rank number for PGCET-2015 M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch candidates will be assigned from 2001 to the last candidate in ascending order, which means rank number 2001 will be the first rank candidate among non-GATE M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch. candidates. Document verification for eligible PGCET-2015 applicants will be held as per the following schedule. Candidates need to bring their original documents for verification in any of KEA’s 13 Helpline centre detailed in KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in However, Non-Karnataka Candidates, GATE Qualified Candidates; Sponsored Quota Candidates, QIP Candidates, Part Time Quota candidates should attend the documents verification in Bangalore centre only as per their ranks. Verification of documents will be done at once for all the disciplines to which the candidate is eligible. If a candidate has got multiple ranks, then he / she can come to the Helpline Centre on the scheduled date as per his / her highest rank in any discipline, and need not come again for other ranks in other disciplines. All other guidelines and procedures given in the PGCET-2015 e-brochure remain same for all other purposes.
For Physically Disabled candidates, the PGCET counselling date is 20th August 2015. For M.E/M./Tech/M.Arch courses, the PGCET 2015 counselling is going to be held from 21st August to 28th August 2015.
For MBA Course, PGCET 2015 counselling is from 29th August 2015 to 4th September 2015. For MCA courses, PGCET counselling 2015 is from 5th Sep 2015 to 8th Sep 2015.
NOTE:
1. Visit http://kea.kar.nic.in for list of Helpline centres. Candidates have to be personally present in the Helpline Centre as per the above schedule for document verification. Verification will not be done after the scheduled date.
2. To claim seat under Hyderabad-Karnataka Reservation (Article 371 J), the candidates should produce the relevant certificate issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner during document verification.
3. The candidate should compulsorily bring all necessary original documents (along with one set of attested photocopies) in support of their claim when they come for verification without fail on the notified date. If any candidate fails to produce any of the original documents / certificates / marks card on the day of verification, such candidate’s documents will not be verified and they will not complete their registration process and subsequently will not be considered for eligibility to exercise their options.
