JEE Main 2016 Result Date, JEE Main Result 2016 Rank List

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main results to be announced on April 27.

Candidates can check the official website, http://jeemain.nic.in. for the JEE Main 2016 Results and click the Results link and enter the required details. CBSE JEE Main 2016 results will be displayed on the computer screen.

JEE Main offline exam was held on April 3 and the JEE Main online exam was held on April 9 and April 10. The JEE Main 2016 exam included two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2(B.E/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning).

Paper 1: (B.E/B.Tech): The JEE Main test had objective type questions based on the subjects physics, chemistry & mathematics.
Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning): The JEE Main exam included mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test.

Around 12 lakh students appeared for the JEE Main 2016 examination in 129 cities. The prestigious JEE Main 2016 engineering entrance exam was conducted to shortlist the candidates seeking admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other centrally  funded technical Institutions. Candidates who pass the JEE Main 2016 exam will have to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. The registrations for JEE Main Advanced exam starts from April 29 and end on May 4.
