NET Result July 2016, UGC NET Result 2016

The CBSE NET (National Eligibility Test) July 2016 results to be announced. Conducted in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET examination cities, CBSE NET 2016 exam was held on July 10 all over India except Srinagar, where the exam date was July 28.

CBSE NET exam is held twice a year on behalf of UGC to select candidates for the role of assistant professor/lecturer and for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF). The Test is conducted in humanities (including languages), social sciences, forensic science, environmental sciences, computer science and applications and electronic science.

The CBSE NET exam is divided into three papers:
Paper 1: Held  for a duration of one hour 15 minutes carrying a total of 100 marks consisting of 60 questions where candidates need to attempt 50 questions.
Paper 2: Held for a  duration of one hour 15 minutes carrying a total of 100 marks consisting of 50 questions.
Paper 3: Held for a duration of two hours and 30 minutes carrying a total of 150 marks consisting of 75 questions.

The CBSE NET 2017 registration starts from October 17. The Junior Research Fellowship exam and Assistant Professor exam is scheduled to be held on January 22, 2017.
