In 2016, Meghalaya Board SSLC Results were announced on 23rd May and this time also the Meghalaya Board has announced Class 10 Exam Results 2017 on the same day. Around 41, 007 students appeared for the exam last year including all Regular, Private with Test and Private without Test candidates. 85.07 per cent regular candidates cleared the exam in 2016 but the overall pass percentage recorded was only 56.31. Purba Mazumder from St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Shillong topped with a score of 568. Megha Manjari Mohanty from St. Xavier's Secondary School, Tura held the second position with 563 score and Surabhi Roy , St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Shillong came third with 560 score.
