UPSC SCRA 2015 Notification, UPSC Special Class Railway Apprentices 2015 exam Paper Pattern
UPSC Special Class Railway Apprentices 2015 exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for appointment in Indian Railways will be held on January 18, 2015. Indian Railways will conduct the UPSC SCRA 2015 examination for selection of candidates for the mechanical engineering wing.
UPSC SCRA 2015 Exam Pattern:
Part 1 - Written examination will be divided into three papers - Paper-I General Ability Test, Paper- II Physical Sciences and Paper - III Mathematics. Part 1 will carry 600 marks.
Part 2- The candidates who will qualify part 1 will be eligible to sit for part 2; Personality test will carry 200 marks.
All the subjects consists of objective MCQ questions only. Medium of the question paper is in English and Negative marking is applicable for each wrong answer.
UPSC SCRA 2015 Syllabus for Part 1 for all the three papers is as follows:
Paper I will have English, General Knowledge and Psychological test
Paper-II will have Physics, Chemistry, Inorganic and organic chemistry.
Paper- III Mathematics will include Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytic Geometry, Differential calculus, Integral calculus and Differential equations, Vectors and its application an Statistics and probability.
Part2- Personality test will test candidates on the basis of their record of career both academic and extra activities. Special attention is given to assess qualities of leadership, initiative and intellectual curiosity, tact and other social qualities, mental and physical energy, power of practical application and integrity of character.
