NIMCET 2016 Notification, Nimcet 2016 Exam Date

The NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) exam date has been released by the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur. NIMCET 2016 exam will be held on May 29 for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered in the NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal.

NIMCET Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
Candidates must have secured at least 60 percent marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale (55 per cent marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale in case of SC, ST) in B.Sc/ B.Sc (Hons)/ BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time or B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent, from a recognised university. Those appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply.

NIMCET Paper pattern:
NIMCET 2016 test will have 120 multiple choice questions to be answered in 2 hrs duration covering the following subjects:
Mathematics: 50 questions
Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning: 40 questions
Computer Awareness: 10 questions
General English: 20 questions
