The SSC CGL Tier 1 2016 result announced today on November 8. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held for recruitment of applicants for group B and C posts in different departments of the government.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted from August 27 to September 11. The SSC CGL 2016 result announced on November 8. Candidates must visit the official website www.ssc.nic.in for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2016. SSC held a computer based exam for the first time in in 43 batches, in 96 cities at total 415 venues. 14.99 lakh candidates appeared out of the total 38.04 lakh candidates who had registered for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam.

SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held in three phases of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. Candidates passing the Tier 1 exam will appear for Tier 2 phase and subsequently for Tier 3 phase.

Enter date of birth, roll number etc and click submit.
SSC CGL 2016 Result will get displayed on the computer screen
Download the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2016 and you can also take a printout.

SSC CGL Tier 1 question paper had four parts-- Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, General Awareness and English Language. Each section carried 25 questions; each question carried two marks and 0.50 mark was deducted for each wrong answer. The time limit of the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination was 75 minutes.
