UPSC Civil Services Exam Date 2018

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the civil services preliminary examination 2018 date . As per the official website www.upsc.gov.in, the UPSC Civil Services Exam Date 2018 is on June 3, 2018. The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 application form will be made available by February 7.

The UPSC preliminary exam for 2017 is to be held on June 18. Candidates must download their UPSC Civil Services admit cards at the earliest. The UPSC exam is held for prestigious posts in the administration including IAS, IRS, IPS, IFS etc.

Educational qualification:
Candidate who wish to apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 must have a degree of graduation in any stream from any university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
Canddiates who have appeared in the qualifying exam and are waiting for their results can also apply, but they must submit the certificate of qualification along with the mark sheet to the UPSC before the main exam

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 Paper pattern:
UPSC Civil Services preliminary examination 2018 will have two papers of objective types (multiple type questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects set out in sub-section (A) of section II
The General Studies paper-II will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33 per cent
The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 question papers would be set in both Hindi and English
The duration of each paper will be two hours.
