CAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria, CAT Exam 2014 Eligibility
Common Admission Test (CAT) 2014 exam, is to be conducted for admissions in IIMs and other institutes for management courses on November 16 and November 22 and the CAT 214 online registraion starts August 6 214 till September 30. Although there is a list of eligibility criteria that needs to be met when applying for CAT 2014, after the CAT 2014 entrance exam, IIMs across the country have their own stages of selection criteria diffrerent from each other and the CAT 2014 selection process include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI).
IIMs may use a candidate's academic performance, work experience and other similar criteria for short-listing, selecting and ranking candidates in stages across the CAT admission process.
Candidates must note these following eligibility criteria's for CAT 2014 exams must be met:
List of Equivalent Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (4 years after 10+2/Post B.Sc./Post Diploma ) or B.E/B.Tech equivalent examinations, of Professional Societies, recognized by MHRD/UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institution of Engineers -India, AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers India).
2. Any Qualification recognized by Association of Indian Universities New Delhi, which is equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree awarded by UGC recognized University/Institutions.
3. Cases not covered above equivalency certificate to be produced from Association of Indian Universities New Delhi.
Mark sheets and degree certificate
Reservation category requirements
Last date for submission of the marksheet and the certificate is December 31, 2015.
Non-fulfillment of this condition result in cancellation of the candidate's provisional admission.
After the CAT results 2014 are announced, interview call letters to the short-listed candidates will be sent from each IIM directly. Wish you all best of luck for the preparation of CAT 2014 exam.
