IIT JAM Result 2015

The Joint Admission to Master of Science (JAM) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) results 2015 is expected to be released on March 19, 2015. JAM is conducted for granting admissions to Integrated PhD degree programmes at IISc Bangalore and MSc (two years), Joint MSc -PhD, MSc PhD dual degree, MSc M.Tech, MSc MS(Research)/PhD dual degree and other post Bachelor's degree programmes at IITs.

The IIT JAM 2015 exam was held on February 8, by IIT Guwahati. All the seven papers consisted of objective type  questions in three forms:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) : Four choices out of which only one choice is the correct answer.
Multiple Select Questions (MSQ): Similar to MCQ but with a difference that there may be one or more than one choice(s) that are correct out of the four given choices.
Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions: For each NAT type question, the answer is a signed real number which needs to be entered using the virtual keypad on the monitor. No choices will be shown for these type of questions.

Candidates are told that no hard copy of JAM 2015 score cards will be sent to the successfully passed candidates by the organising institute. Candidates must download the JAM 2015 Scrorecards from IIT JAM 2015 website.

IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test) 2015 exam date is on February 8. The IIT JAM 2015 admit cards are available on the official website of the IIT. Candidates can login to the official website of IIT to download the IIT JAM 2015 admit cards.

How to download the IIT JAM admit cards 2015:
Go to the official website of IIT;
Click on 'admit card (download through JAPS)';
Enter Enrolment ID/ Email Address; password and submit.

IIT JAM 2015 exam schedule:
Session I: 9 am to 12 pm: Biological Sciences (BL), Mathematics (MA) and Physics (PH)
Session II: 2 pm to 5 pm: Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG) and Mathematical Statistics (MS)

JAM 2015 is being held under IIT Guwahati as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all test papers. JAM 2015 all seven test papers are fully objective type, with three different patterns of questions as follows:

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) : Each MCQ type question has four options from which one is correct. Select one.
Multiple Select Questions (MSQ): Each MSQ type question is similar to MCQ but with a difference that there may be one or more than one choice(s) that are correct out of the four options available.
Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions: For each NAT type question, the answer is a signed real number which needs to be entered using the virtual keypad on the monitor. No options available for these type of questions.
