UGC NET 2014 December Exam Date for second session is Dec 28, 2014
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2014 for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship position or both in Indian universities and colleges on behalf of UGC on Dec 28, 2014.
CBSE conducts NET exam twice a year and this time in December 2014, NET exam will be conducted NET in 79 subjects at 87 selected NET Institutions in India. NET 2014 June exam was held on Sunday i.e. June 29 and the results for this NET exam will soon be announced.
UGC provide the necessary experts and their experience to prepare the UGC NET 2014 question papers to CBSE. Over 33,000 candidates appeared in the UGC NET 2014 examinations in June session.
Candidates successfully qualifying the UGC NET December 2014 exam for Junior Research Fellowship can pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. The universities, institutions, IITs and other organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedures.
The performance of the candidate in all the three papers of UGC NET December 2014 exam will determine the award of JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor or both. But those candidates who only qualify for Assistant Professor will not be considered for award of JRF.
