JEE (Mains) 2014 All India Ranking (AIR) announced

JEE (Mains) 2014 All India Ranking has been announced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates can check their Jee Main 2014 scores at jeemain.nic.in. The JEE Mains 2014 All India Ranking is based on JEE Mains scores (60%) and Class 12 results (40%). These JEE (main) ranks are used by central institutes like NITs and other institutes all over India. Around 12.5 lakh appeared for the exam. The JEE Main 2014 rank card of the candidate includes the 'All India rank', 'state rank' and 'category rank'. The Jee Main counseling session starts now as there are four rounds of seat allotment and after that spot admission

JEE Main 2014 counselling Schedule

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) conducts the seat allotment procedure for the JEE Main rank holders in NITs. The following is the Jee Main 2014 seat allocation schedule released by CSAB:

Online registration, filling up the choices:  July 8 (Tue)- July  12 (Sat), 2014, 5 PM
Locking of choices:  July 10 (Thu), 2014 - July 12 (Sat), 2014, 5 PM
First round of seat allotment:  July 14, 2014 (Mon)
Reporting at the reporting centres against first round:  July 14 (Mon) - July 17 (Thu), 2014, 5 PM
Second round of seat allotment:  July 19 (Sat), 2014
Reporting at centres against second round:  July 19 (Sat) - 21 (Mon), 2014, 5 PM
Third round of seat allotment:  July 23 (Wed), 2014
Reporting at centres against third round: July 23 (Wed) -25 (Fri), 2014, 5 PM
Surrendering of seat at RC:  July 23 (Wed) -25 (Fri), 2014, 5 PM
Reporting at allotted institute of those who are satisfied:  July 23 (Wed) - 26 (Sat), 2014, 5 PM
Modification of choice for fourth round:  July 23 (Wed) - 26 (Sat), 2014, 5 PM
Fourth round of seat allotment:  July 28, 2014  (Mon)
Reporting at the allotted institute against foruth round: July 28 (Mon) - 31(Thu), 2014, 5 PM
Result declaration for internal sliding:  August  2 (Sat), 2014
Spot round: Online registration, online choice filling, online choice locking and online fee payment: August 2 (Sat)- August 5 (Tue), 2014, 5 PM
Spot round-Seat Allotment:  August 8 (Fri), 2014
Reporting at the allotted institute against spot round: August 8 (Fri)-12 (Tue), 2014, 5 PM
Admission closed: August 12 (Tue), 2014, 5 PM
 
JEE Main Seat allotment is to be done in different rounds and Spot round for the vacant seats will start with new registrations.

JEE (Main) Counseling 2014 and All India Ranks

The JEE (Main) counseling 2014 will commence once the JEE Mains All India Ranks are announced. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the JEE Mains All India Ranks (AIRs) on 7th July.

JEE Main Counselling was scheduled to start from July 1 but it is because of the other state boards which did not submit their data on time, the Jee Main Counselling final schedule will be announced later and we will infrom her on Sushmaresults.in.

Candidates must check and confirm their marks of the JEE Mains on the official website of JEE Mains by selecting their education board, entering their application number, JEE Mains roll number and date of birth. If there is some errors, you need to upload the marks sheet and it has to be done till July 3.

The JEE Mains counseling session has four rounds of seat allotment, and after that a spot admission round will take place. JEE Mains All India Ranks are awaited by around 12.5 lakh engineering candidates from across India. These JEE (main) ranks are used for admissions to undergraduate engineering and architecture courses at the NITs, IIITs and other technical institutions in India.
