Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MAH MBA/MMS CET 2015

Centralized Admission Process (CAP) registrations for admissions to the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2015 (MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015) that started on May 16 ends today i.e. May 30 at 5 pm. However, a candidate must note that documents verification, update & confirmation of application form for admission in person at ARC for Maharashtra/All India/J&K candidates alog with new registrants will continue till June 1.

The candidates applying for MAH CET 2015 exam must confirm their eligibility as everyone cannot just apply for the admissions through this exam. Candidates who have registered for MAH-MBA/MMS CET during the period February 18 to March 2 and appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015 or CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT/CMAT 2015/ MAT February 2015/ XAT/ ATMA are eligible to apply. Or the candidates who could not register for MAH-MBA/MMS CET during the period February 18 to March 2 but appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015 or CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT/CMAT 2015/ MAT February 2015/ XAT/ ATMA are eligible to apply as 'new registrants'.

MAH CET or the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, is being held every year for candidates getting admissions to full-time two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master in Management Studies (MMS), Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes. This time the MAH CET 2015 exam was held on March 15.

Candidates can download the Maharasthra Common Eligibility Test (MAH-CET) admit cards from the official website of Maharashtra CET. Candidates must note that they must carry the MAH CET 2015 hall tickets/admit cards with them while appearing for the exam as it is a must and they will not be allowed to sit in the exam without the MAH CET admit cards.

MAH CET 2015 is to be held on March 14 and 15 different centres across India. Candidates who want to pusue admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS) courses offered by B-schools can take this exam. Over 42,000 MBA and MMS seats are available in various management institutes while around 60,000 candidates have already registered for this exam.

Admission to the management courses like MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM are done by the competent authority of Maharashtra and it is centralized and covered under Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
MAH CET 2015 exam consists of 200 questions to be completed in the duration of 150 minutes. DTE Maharashtra has already announced that MAHCET 2015 will comprise multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of verbal ability and reading comprehension; quantitative aptitude and logical/abstract reasoning.

MAH CET 2015 Registration

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) 2015 registration for admissions to MAH-MBA/MMS-CET has started today. Online applications from candidates are invited for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015 for admission to the first year of a two year post graduate degree course in MBA/MMS. Candidates who are interested in applying for these courses can do so before February 27, 2015.

MAH CET 2015-16 exam is to be held on March 14 and15, 2015.

MAH CET 2015 Eligibility Criteria
A minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45 per cent, for backward class categories and persons with disability of Maharashtra state) in any bachelor's degree.

Candidates who have appeared for CAT (conducted by IIMs)/GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/CMAT 2015 (conducted by AICTE)/MAT(conducted by AIMA in February 2015)/XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ATMA (conducted by AIMS)/ MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015 are also eligible for admission against the all India seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria. These candidates must fill and confirm online application form as per the schedule.

How to apply for MAH CET 2015 Exam
As MAH-MBA/MMS-CET is to be conducted online in various sessions, Candidates must register and fill the online application form at http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba

Registration fees: Application form fee is to be paid at any Axis bank branch in cash through e-challan.
Open category candidates from Maharashtra state, outside Maharashtra state (OMS), J&K migrant candidates and NRI/Foreign Nationals/PIO/children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries candidates:  Rs 1000 as application fees.
Backward class categories and persons with disability of the Maharashtra State: Rs 800 as application fees.

Admission Process
The centralized admission process will have total three rounds, first two rounds are based on computerized allotment and third round by counselling.

MAH CET 2015 Exam pattern: 200 questions in 150 minutes
DTE Maharashtra has announced that MAHCET 2015 have multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of verbal ability and reading comprehension; quantitative aptitude and logical/abstract reasoning. 200 questions are to be answered in a total time of two and half hours (150 minutes).
