CBSE UGC NET 2017 Answer key

CBSE UGC NET 2017 answer keys to be published soon at cbsenet.nic.in. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the UGC NET 2017 answer keys on its official website, cbsenet.nic.in. UGC NET 2017 examination is held for determining the eligibility for a number of posts, Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship across the country.

Steps to check National Eligibility Test (NET) NET 2017 answer key:
  • Visit the official website cbsenet.nic.in
  • Click on the link, 'UGC NET Answer Keys'
  • Enter all the required details and click submit.
  • UGC NET 2017 Answer Key will be displayed on the screen
  • You can take a printout for future use
UGC NET exam consisted of three following papers:

Paper 1:
UGC NET 2017 Paper 1 exam was held for a duration of one and a half hours for 100 marks and had 60 questions, out of which 50 questions was to be attempted

Paper 2:
UGC NET 2017 Paper 2 exam was held for a duration of one and a half hours for 100 marks and had 50 questions (all are compulsory)

Paper 3:
UGC NET 2017 Paper 3 exam was held for a duration of two and a half hours for 150 marks and included 75 questions (all are compulsory)

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced National Eligibility Test (NET) time table for the NET exam to be held in June 2015. The UGC NET 2015 exam is to be held on the date June 21, 2015.

UGC NET June 2015 Exam Schedule of Important Events:
Last date for online submission of applications: March 12
Last date for receipt of duly completed hard copy of online applications: March 17
Last date for receipt of duly completed hard copy of online applications ( for remote areas): March 23
Last date for receipt of written request for change of examination centre (on merit basis): April 20
Tentative date of publication of list of candidates registered for test on CSIR, HRDG website: May 15
UGC NET 2015 Exam Date: June 21

UGC NET Paper pattern: Subjects

The UGC NET Paper pattern is based on MCQ type for the following subjects:

Life Sciences
Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Chemical Sciences
Physical Sciences
Engineering Sciences

UGC NET 2015 exam will be of 200 marks.

UGC NET June 2015 Apply Online
Candidates who wish to apply can visit the official website of UGC NET and submit the online application. Candidates should take a print out of the application submitted and send it in an envelope super scribed with subject code, centre code and medium code to "Sr. Controller of Examination, Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit, CSIR Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012". You must send the relevant documents (attested copies) alongwith.

UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2014

UGC NET December 2014: Eligibility Criteria

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) online application process started on October 15 for National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2014 on behalf of the UGC. Eligible candidates can apply online before November 15, 2014. The date of the NET Dec 2014 examination is December 28, 2014.

UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2014:
Candidates who have secured at least 55 per cent (50 per cent for reserved category) marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC are eligible for this test.
ii) Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test
iii) The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master's level examination had been completed by September 19, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5 per cent in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.

Age limit:
(i) Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on December 1, 2014.
 (ii) Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor.

NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/Colleges/Institutions, provided, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions.
ii)      The candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are also exempted from appearing in NET.
iii)      The candidates who have cleared the State Eligibility Test (SET) accredited by UGC for eligibility for Assistant Professor held prior to Dec 1, 2002 are exempted from appearing in NET, being eligible to apply for Assistant Professor anywhere in India.

Step I:
Minimum marks to be obtained in NET for considering a candidate for the award of JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor:

Step II:
Amongst those candidates who have cleared step I, a merit list will be prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.

Step III:
Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under step II, will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only.

Step IV:
A separate merit list for the award of JRF will be prepared from amongst the NET qualified candidates figuring in the merit list prepared under step III.

UGC NET Results Dec 2011

UGC NET Results Dec 2011 have been announced by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates are advised to check the ugc net online/ugc net result 2011 on the official website of UGC for the ugc net results 2011 - ugc.ac.in.

For getting the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for lecturership, UGC conducts NET Exam twice a year in December and June. UGC NET Results DEC 2011 are available for the candidates who appeared in the UGC NET exam conducted on 24th December 2011.
